Cathedral Music
Because of the beautiful acoustics of the building, St James' is a great setting for sung services and concerts.
The Cathedral Choir is present on many occasions.
There are regular Saturday Concerts.
The historic Cathedral Organ is the only pipe organ is North Queensland
The Australian Festival of Chamber Music holds concerts in the Cathedral
Recordings of large choir and orchestral pieces have also been made at St James'
