Welcome to St. James' Cathedral Townsville

We welcome you to our beautiful Cathedral which has been a place of sacred space for the Townsville community for well over a century. We offer a blend of traditional and contemporary Anglican liturgy, and aim to be a joyful and welcoming community.

Coming up:

The Cathedral and St Marks will stay closed for public worship for some time.

We are waiting for further clarification on the ability to hold small gatherings and private prayer.

Some services will now be live streamed. The first service is the Lady Day Service March 25th at 12 noon.

Live streaming of services on behalf of the Anglican Churches in Townsville and the Diocese can be found here.
